International agencies
You are rolling a campaign out across the Nordics and need the Swedish version to hold the same tone as the original. You want one point of contact, a clear quote and files that match the spec you were given.
I am Mattias Pettersson, a native Swedish voice over artist with 41 years behind the microphone and more than 3,500 assignments delivered. If your project needs a Swedish voice that sounds like it was written in Swedish rather than translated into it, you are in the right place. You brief me directly, and I record and deliver from my own studio.

Typical delivery from approved script
A Swedish voice over artist records spoken narration in Swedish for video, audio and phone systems. The recording part is the visible half. The half that decides whether the result works is the reading itself: where the stress lands, how compound words are handled, and whether product names and English loan words are pronounced the way your Swedish audience expects.
This matters most when the script has been translated. A literal translation from English often produces sentences that are grammatically correct but rhythmically wrong in Swedish. Part of my job is to flag those lines before we record, not after your editor has already cut them in.
If you need the localization workflow itself, including script adaptation and timing against an existing master, that is covered on the Swedish localization page. If you need English rather than Swedish, see English voice over from Sweden.
Most briefs reach me from one of three directions.
You are rolling a campaign out across the Nordics and need the Swedish version to hold the same tone as the original. You want one point of contact, a clear quote and files that match the spec you were given.
You have an English master and need Swedish that fits the timing without sounding rushed. You care about consistent pronunciation of product names across dozens of modules.
You are producing corporate video, e-learning or phone prompts in your home market and want a voice your audience will recognise across every channel.
There are three common routes to a Swedish voice, and they fail in different ways. An agency is worth its fee when you need casting across several languages at once and someone to own the whole delivery. A marketplace is fastest when the job is small and interchangeable. Working direct with one artist is the right call when you want the same voice to come back for the next batch, and when you want to talk to the person who will actually read the script.
The full comparison, including what each route costs and where the hidden delays sit, is in agency, freelancer or marketplace.

Send the script or a description
A word count is enough for a quote. Tell me the channel, the territory and how long the material will run, because that is what sets the rights portion of the price.
Fixed quote within 24 hours
Production and rights are listed as separate lines so you can compare the quote against anyone else you asked.
Record
Either I record alone and send takes, or you direct live over Source-Connect, Cleanfeed or a phone patch.
Delivery
WAV 48 kHz 24-bit mono by default, named the way your editor asked. Other formats on request.
Pickups
Corrections inside the agreed script are part of the job. A rewritten script is a new recording, and I will say so before we start.
A short video up to 75 words is 1,600 SEK, about 145 euro, excluding VAT. An internal or training video of one to two minutes is 2,900 SEK, about 260 euro. Commercials in paid media start at 6,500 SEK and include rights for the agreed usage period. Full list on the rates page.
Yes. Swedish is my native language. I also record English with a natural Nordic accent, which suits Nordic brands speaking to an international audience. I do not present myself as a British or American native voice.
Yes. Send the master and the Swedish script and I will time the read against it. Swedish generally runs longer than English, so tell me early whether the timing is locked, because that changes how the script should be adapted.
Yes. Source-Connect and Cleanfeed are both set up, and a phone patch or Zoom works when that is simpler. Directed sessions are worth booking when tone is uncertain or the script is still moving.
You brief the person who reads the script, so notes are not relayed through a producer. An agency is the better choice when you need several languages cast at once and want one supplier owning the whole delivery.
Typically within 24 hours of an approved script. Same-day is often possible for short scripts. The limiting factor is usually script approval on your side rather than studio time on mine.
Each of these has its own page with demos and pricing.
The detail behind the quote, the file format and the casting decision.
Share the script, a word count or just a description of the project. You get a fixed price within 24 hours, with production and rights listed separately.
