What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored in your browser when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your choices (such as your cookie preference) or to collect anonymised statistics about how the site is used.
I keep data collection to a minimum. Marketing and advertising cookies (LinkedIn Insight Tag) are only set if you actively choose "Accept all" in the cookie banner — choosing "Necessary only" or "Analytics only" sets no such cookies. I do not use tracking cookies from other social media platforms. YouTube videos are embedded using youtube-nocookie.com (privacy-enhanced mode), which means YouTube does not set tracking cookies unless you actively click to play a video.

Google is certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, ensuring an adequate level of protection for your data.

LinkedIn Insight Tag (requires your consent)
If you consent to marketing cookies, data is sent to LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (Wilton Plaza, Dublin 2, Ireland). The service is used to measure the performance of LinkedIn advertising campaigns and to deliver relevant ads to visitors. Controllership is shared between Tone of Choice and LinkedIn under LinkedIn's Page Insights Joint Controller Addendum.

YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode)
Demo videos on this site are embedded via youtube-nocookie.com — YouTube's privacy-enhanced embedding mode. Here is how it works:
- Thumbnail images are loaded from
img.youtube.com— this is a plain image request and no cookies are set. - YouTube sets no tracking cookies until you actively click to play the video.
- If you click play, YouTube's player is loaded and YouTube's own cookie policy applies for that session.
