The rise of the metaverse has been one of the most talked about trends in recent years. A metaverse is a platform that allows users to create, interact and share digital content and experiences. It’s often compared to a virtual world, but it’s much more than that. With the rise of metaverse platforms like Second Life, Oculus Rift and Microsoft HoloLens, it’s not hard to see why this trend is on everyone’s radar.
But what does the future hold for voice over in a metaverse world?

In the past, voice over has been used primarily for narration and explanation. However, in a metaverse platform, voice over can be used for much more than that. This presents a whole new set of challenges for voice artists. In addition to creating believable characters, they’ll also need to create voices that are recognisable and distinguishable from one another. This will be especially important in multiplayer metaverse games where players will need to be able to identify other players by their voice. With so many different voices competing for attention, it’ll be crucial for voice artists to find ways to make their character’s stand out from the crowd.

The question that remains on my mind is this: Will these meta verses use AI generated voices or will they come to us that works with this all the time?
